Bonnie is an actress living and working in Los Angeles, California. Bonnie is represented by Aqua Talent (commercial) and is currently seeking theatrical representation for TV/film. View Bonnie’s Casting Types Sheet and her IMDB Page.
Having studied and performed at both Upright Citizens Brigade and The Groundlings, Bonnie’s true love is comedy, from TV/film to live improvisation to sketch comedy and character work. Bonnie and her writing partner (and husband) Jonathan Cooke write and produce comedy videos under their faux celebrity-relationship pen name: Bonathan Sketch.
Most recently, Bonnie and Jonathan produced their 30-minute pilot comedy show called The Gentle Art, and are currently seeking representation and distribution for the show. Bonnie portrays Dr. Mackenzie Miller, a thirty-something year old anesthesiologist and newly found martial arts enthusiast who joins the gym looking to meet new friends after her recent move to Los Angeles.
Bonnie performs with two comedy improv teams, an all female improvised one-act plays team Soubrette Rep and co-ed mockumentary team Doc Block. Bonnie has been fortunate to study improv and sketch with some of the comedy greats, including Guy Stevenson (Groundlings), Brandon Gardner (UCB), Billy Merritt (UCB) and Julie Brister (UCB) along with many amazing other folx she should name here (but people have short attention spans so I have to make this bio TIGHT.)
Bonnie also has years of dramatic acting training from respected LA-based acting teachers including Howard Fine, Craig Wallace and Anthony Meindl.
Bonnie is also a trained singer and accomplished equestrian as well as a certified Yoga and Pilates instructor.

MORE ABOUT BONNIE (If ya want the long version)
Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina Bonnie moved West to LA back in ye old 2012 and hasn’t looked back. Often seen driving to yoga blaring the Dixie Chicks and drinking green juice, Bonnie is a true south – west paradox, walking around in her cowgirl boots and yoga pants with her liberal politics and respect for the art of frying chicken and rolling biscuits.
Bonnie’s first performance was at age 4 when her red cowgirl boots stuck out from under her white lacey nightgown in a production of ‘The Worst Christmas Pageant Ever’. Yes, she had a #stagemom and grandmother to thank for her early beginnings.
With an extensive theatre and musical theatre background, Bonnie has cultivated her acting, singing and dancing skills for most of her life. Bonnie began acting for the screen upon moving to Los Angeles after graduating from Elon University in NC with a B.A. in Journalism & Communications. Bonnie is also a trained singer.
Bonnie is also a certified Yoga and Pilates instructor as well as an FEI level Dressage horseback rider (2007 USEF JR Champion), and holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Communication, specializing in PR and Creative Marketing.
Bonnie is most inspired by the female comedy greats she watched on SNL growing up: Maya Rudolph, Kristen Wiig, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Kate McKinnon and Melissa McCarthy. So. damn. funny.
Bonnie cannot put into words the immense gratitude she feels in her heart to have the opportunity to pursue her dreams. “There’s no investment that pays off quite like hope.”
